For school children who want to learn programming and work with digital technologies; For teachers ready to become mentors for a new generation; For schools developing STEM education in their communities and creating robotics clubs where children learn to think like engineers, collaborate in teams, and solve real-world challenges.

Goal

To make modern technological education accessible to every child, regardless of where they live. EGAP Program helps communities create environments where children can study robotics, programming, and engineering while developing critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Robotics club equipment includes:

  • LEGO Education SPIKE Prime and SPIKE Essential kits with expansion sets — foundational tools for robotics lessons that help children master programming and engineering basics.
  • Arduino Uno learning kits — introduce students to the world of microelectronics, sensors, and automated systems.
  • School Robot training fields — specialized arenas for lessons and competitions, where students test their projects and prepare for national tournaments.
  • FIRST LEGO League Challenge themed fields — aligned with the international robotics program’s annual theme. Each year’s challenge focuses on a current global issue, giving students the opportunity to research it and design their own innovative solutions.
  • Laptop with licensed software and Edition platform — a full digital environment for programming, presentations, and teamwork.

Students from pilot schools design and present their own projects at competitions. In 2024, five of the strongest teams visited Kyiv for an award ceremony, an educational tour to EPAM, and new experiences. All participants received robotics kits.

At the ROBOTICO + ROBOFIRST 2025 national festival, among 27 finalists of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge, 12 teams represented EGAP-supported schools — 7 reached the final, 4 won awards, and 1 became the season champion.

Our contribution

EGAP Program provides modern equipment to pilot schools and supports them in launching robotics clubs. Since 2023, teachers have participated in regular training sessions with EGAP experts and external specialists, as well as workshops organized jointly with equipment suppliers. This helps educators strengthen their digital and methodological competencies to confidently teach robotics and become true mentors for future engineers and innovators. The Program also enhances students’ practical skills by organizing friendly robotics tournaments.
