Ukraine became the first country in the world to merge 10 services into one. The comprehensive service was created based on best practices from Canada, Serbia, Australia and New Zealand.

And now e-Baby is the most inclusive service for parents of newborns in the world. It includes:

• Birth registration;
• Proof of affiliation for children born out of wedlock;
• Registration in the State Taxpayers’ Register;
• Entering information about the newborn into the Unified State Demographic Register by assigning a unique data entry number in the Register;
• Attestation of Ukrainian citizenship for a newborn;
• Baby bonus allocation;
• Allocation of large family support allowance;
• Registration of a newborn child’s residence;
• Сhild’s registration in the National e-Health Database Patient Registry; and,
• Payment of financial compensation for the Baby Box.

Before this service was launched, parents were mandated to spend 10 days visiting five different government agencies to collect 37 documents. Now it takes 20 minutes and you are simply required to complete one online form.
