6 million certificates on Diia.Education: what Ukrainians study most often
Users of the national platform Diia.Education have already received over 6 million course completion certificates. Every year, around 600 thousand new users from all regions of Ukraine register on Diia.Education. Almost 10% of visits come from Ukrainians abroad.
On the platform, users can master new professional skills, learn to protect personal data, and safely use digital services.
What do users choose most often?
Digigram. Almost 1.6 million Ukrainians have taken the national digital literacy test. It helps evaluate skills in working with technology, searching for information, protecting personal data, and using electronic services.
Educational series. Users have received over 4 million certificates for completing them. The most popular topics are cyber hygiene, online safety, barrier-free accessibility, media literacy, and anti-corruption. Over 310 thousand people have completed the 'Basics of Cyber Hygiene' series alone.
Diia.Education certificates can be added to a CV via Career Studio, and an AI editor will help describe professional experience.
After completing Digigram, users receive an assessment of their digital skills across various areas. Based on the results, an AI guide selects learning materials and builds a personal development plan. In total, over 850 educational products are available on the platform.
'Behind each of the six million certificates is a person striving to find a job, master a new tool, or feel more confident in the digital world. That is where the value of Diia.Education lies: the platform helps people acquire knowledge that they can apply in real life. For Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program and East Europe Foundation, it is important to develop such solutions together with partners, because digital transformation makes sense when it brings real benefits to people,' notes Viktor Liakh, President of East Europe Foundation.
Important: learning is possible not only online, but also in digital education hubs operating in libraries, universities, and civil society organisations. The nearest hub can be found on an interactive map.
The strategic partner of the Diia.Education platform is EGAP Program with support from Switzerland, implemented by East Europe Foundation. Updating the platform in 2023 and integrating AI tools are implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation with support from Google.org. Training for coordinators of offline digital education hubs is carried out on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in cooperation with the Ukrainian Library Association NGO within the Diia Support Project, implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine with funding from Sweden.
