EGAP CHALLENGE ideathon in the area of infrastructure

Egap Challnege Ideathon is a one-day crash-test and selection of projects in the area of Infrastructure for their participation in the incubation programme.

On 7 February, Egap Challenge Ideathon in the area of Infrastructure  took place. Ideathon was conducted with the previously selected teams or the teams created during the event in a format of workshops and intensive courses with the mentors and experts in the a topic at issue and in the adjacent fields of knowledge, with the view to improving and verification of the ideas proposed and the teams’ ability to launch the project.

Smart Ukraine

E-services where the users of Ukrzaliznytsia, State Road Agency of Ukraine and Ukrposhta can express their opinion about the quality of the services these organisation provide.  Smart Ukraine forms statistical data based on such feedback. It is difficult for top managers of large state-owned companies to control quality of customer services. But the quality of customer services is the reason why a company exists. Moreover, such a tool will make it possible to fight against corruption.

How to save the life of a person injured in a traffic accident when there are no witnesses, and a victim is unconscious? The team from the city of Dnipro has invented a device notifying about road accidents. A gadget intended for vehicles, a device which, with its detectors, identifies a road accident and notifies the traffic control service, and sends data relating to the road accident to a server. Notification contains information about the vehicle, time, location and the reason of the accident. A useful aid for those who use vehicles.

Smart Ticket

Web-platform and mobile applications for users of electronic mobile devices operating on iOS and Android platforms, which makes possible to 1) conveniently plan the travel from the point of departure to the point of destination taking into account all possible routes (most efficient, quickest, most comfortable etc.) by different modes of transport (airlines, bus, suburban, city transport); 2) reserve or book online (24/7) the electronic entire ticket for the whole travel (airlines+railway+bus+); 3) insure yourself or your belongings during the travel for the time of the travel; 4) reserve hotels, call a taxi, rent a car, reserve tickets for entertainment events at the place of destination etc.
