Submit claims to the International Register of Damage via Diia for legal entities and the state
If assets or infrastructure have been lost due to Russia's aggression, it is now possible to submit a claim to the international Register of Damage via Diia. Claim categories for damage caused after 24 February 2022 are now available for businesses and the state.
For the state:
- B1.1 — damage or destruction of critical infrastructure;
- B1.2 — damage or destruction of non-critical infrastructure.
For business:
- C1.1 — damage or destruction of critical infrastructure;
- C1.2 — damage or destruction of non-critical infrastructure;
- C3.1 — damage, destruction, or loss of assets.
A company director can submit a claim personally or appoint a representative via ‘Digital Powers’ — a new option for legal entities in Diia.
The claim is submitted online in Diia. The service will automatically pull some information from registers, while other data must be provided manually. To submit, you will need:
- detailed data on damaged or destroyed objects;
- documents and damage assessment;
- a description of the events that led to the destruction;
- photographs or other evidence.
The service in Diia is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The development of the service is supported by UK International Development and the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by East Europe Foundation.
